Afshan Behnamghader

I’m Afshan, an Iranian-born design enthusiast now based in California. My background is in architecture, where I spent several years working on large-scale projects. Over time, I found myself drawn to the intimacy of designing homes—a place where my love for storytelling through objects, colors, and patterns could truly take root.

Alongside this design journey, I create hand-printed artworks inspired by my Iranian heritage, using the ancient craft of block printing. My hope is to make timeless pieces that carry the warmth of Eastern culture while weaving in Western influences of composition and color—pieces that hold symbolic meaning and, in time, become part of a home’s story.
