Welcome to Afshan Behnam. This website is operated by Afshan Behnamghader, doing business as (DBA) Afshan Behnam. By using this website or purchasing from it, you agree to the terms below.

1. Use of This Website

  • This website presents artwork, design work, and design concepts for general information and portfolio display. Nothing on this website constitutes:
    • A binding offer of services.
    • Construction, engineering, legal, or technical advice.
    • Design services are provided only through a separate, written agreement.

2. Design Intent & Renderings
Afshan Behnam provides design concepts, notes, and visual inspirations, including layout, spatial planning, and material direction. All digital drawings, 3D renderings, animations, text, and documents:

  • Represent design intent and aesthetic recommendations only.
  • Are not construction documents, structural engineering drawings, fabrication manuals, or building permit documents.
  • AI, Software, & Digital Asset Disclaimer: The imagery, visualizations, and interior renderings displayed on this website are digital conceptualizations produced utilizing professional architectural and design software (including Revit, Enscape, and Photoshop) alongside artificial intelligence modeling tools (including, but not limited to, Meshy AI). The 3D furniture models, fixtures, fabrics, lighting, and objects displayed within these virtual environments are independent, AI-generated digital approximations. They are not official, authorized, or licensed digital assets produced, manufactured, or distributed by the respective trademark owners. These digital renderings utilize placeholders and cannot replicate, do not accurately depict, and are explicitly not intended to show the true physical depth, texture, dimensions, elegance, or absolute beauty of the actual retail products, materials, and finishes.

Any brand names, paint colors, appliances, or fixtures listed alongside design concepts are curated recommendations meant to reflect the aesthetic direction of a project.

4. Products & Artwork

  • Products sold through this website include hand-printed works and print reproductions.
  • Hand-Printed Works: Subtle variations, minor imperfections, and unique traits are part of the ancient block printing process and are not considered defects.
  • Color Accuracy: We aim for accurate representation, though colors may vary slightly depending on your digital screen settings.

5. Orders & Returns
Orders are accepted upon payment.

  • Production Time:
    • Hand-printed works: approx. 10 days
    • Prints: approx. 6 days
  • Refund Policy: All sales are final. Damaged items may be replaced or refunded only if reported within 7 days of delivery.

6. Intellectual Property

  • All content on this website—including original artwork, block print designs, drawings, portfolio images, 3D renderings, and text—belongs exclusively to Afshan Behnam. No reproduction, copy, modification, or commercial use is permitted without explicit written permission.

7. Responsibility & Limitation of Liability

  • You agree to use all materials, design concepts, and products responsibly.
  • Afshan Behnam is not responsible for:
    • Contractor or construction decisions, fabrication, site execution, or building code compliance.
    • Misuse of design drawings, renderings, or original artwork.
    • Any physical injuries, damages, or accidents caused by improper third-party installation, handling, mounting, or hanging of frames and artwork.
    • Subtle variations in color, texture, or detail between the website images and the final artwork, as these natural differences are an inherent part of the handmade block printing and reproduction process.
  • Manufacturer & Corporate Liability Shield: Afshan Behnam holds zero liability to any user, buyer, or third-party manufacturer if a digital model, asset pack, or video walkthrough does not show the true elegance, beauty, or exact dimensions of a commercial product. The digital modeling software is used as an artistic tool, not an absolute replication engine.
  • Limitation: All services, portfolio contents, and products are provided “as is.” Liability is strictly limited to the amount paid for the specific service or product.

8. Affiliate Disclosure

  • This website and its journal posts contain affiliate links. If you click on a link and make a purchase from a third-party retailer, Afshan Behnam may receive a small commission. This commission comes at absolutely no additional cost to you and helps support the ongoing creation of Room Stories. We only recommend products, brands, and materials that align with our design aesthetic and philosophy.
