Designer, Artist & Curator

Based in California, Afshan Behnam is a residential designer and decorative artist.

With a master’s degree in architecture and years of industry experience, Afshan approaches home design through a dual lens. She combines architectural grounding, understanding light, proportion, and massing, with a deep passion for storytelling through space, objects, and colors.

As an artist, Afshan draws deeply from her Iranian heritage, bringing centuries-old motifs to life by creating block print artworks. She views these meaningful historical designs as a library of stories and messages, meant to be cherished, listened to, and brought back to life.
