When you look closely at Persian art through the centuries, you find layers of beautiful meaning in motifs found in stone carvings, stucco reliefs, tiles, pottery, or handmade rugs.

I use the technique of block printing to reinterpret these motifs, creating pieces that carry the warmth and symbolism of Iranian art while weaving in a cosmopolitan feel of composition and color.
