Niloo” is a twelve-petal flower motif drawn from architectural carvings at Persepolis, the ceremonial capital of the Achaemenid Empire (550–330 BCE) in present-day Iran.

In ancient Persia, the twelve-petal form was often associated with the lotus or sun symbol, representing renewal, harmony, and the rhythm of time. Its repetition evokes natural cycles, such as the twelve months of the year.

Delivered unframed.
Hand block-printed on approximately 8" × 8" Khadi paper — a handmade 100% cotton rag from India, acid-free and archival.

Each piece is hand-printed, signed, and unique. Small variations in color and pattern are part of its handmade and hand-mixed nature.

Printed with soft matte, richly pigmented colors made from high-quality, low-VOC interior paints.
