Niloofar in High Summer | Framed Miniature
Niloofar in High Summer | Framed Miniature
"Niloofar" is a twelve-petaled water lily rosette drawn from the stone carvings of Persepolis, the ceremonial capital of the Achaemenid Empire.
In ancient Persia, its radial form was a piece of sacred geometry , with the petals mirroring the twelve months of the year.
Once used to decorate grand palace stairways, this symmetrical motif is far more than mere ornament; it remains a timeless emblem of harmony, continuity, and the quiet rhythm of renewal.
- hand block-printed on 4″ × 4″ smooth, 100lb acid free paper.
- Included: solid natural walnut frame with tempered glass, and a white envelope.
- each piece is individually signed; gentle variations in color and pattern reflect the hand-crafted nature of the work.
- pigments are mixed from high-quality, low-VOC Farrow & Ball interior paints.
