Niloofar in Summertide | Heritage Print
Niloofar in Summertide | Heritage Print
Niloofar is a twelve-petaled water lily rosette drawn from the stone carvings of Persepolis, the ceremonial capital of the Achaemenid Empire. In ancient Persia, its radial form was a piece of sacred geometry, with the petals mirroring the twelve months of the year. This symmetrical motif is a timeless emblem of harmony, continuity, and the quiet rhythm of renewal.
I named this color palette Summertide as a nod to youth: a memory of running around as a child, laughing while waiting for chilled watermelon to be served. It captures the fresh brilliance of the summer sun, bringing a joyful reminder of warmth, laughter, and exuberance.
