"Anahid" celebrates one of the most iconic symbols in Persian art: the lotus flower. While influenced by Egyptian and Mesopotamian traditions, the Achaemenid Empire refined the blossom into a unique, symmetrical style, a hallmark of their imperial aesthetic.

Carved across the grand terraces of Persepolis, the lotus follows the solar cycle, opening at dawn to signify the triumph of light over darkness. As a flower that rises from muddy waters to remain pristine, it represents the soul’s ability to maintain purity and balance amidst the chaos of the material world.
